How Can Your Major Make the World a Better Place

 Hi miss and classmates,


I chose to satudy journalism just for make the world a better place. I think the communicators has the duty to help to the persons. I especially chose the Universidad de Chile to study journalism because I am interested in the social vision of education and because it understands that we must be a positive contribution🤗. I really like the curriculum and teachers are also very valuable in this learning process.


As communicators we can do many things, starting with never compromising on ethics and following the basics that move a journalist, being at the service of society, offering the truth of things, always investigating beyond power.

In my case I would like to dedicate myself to investigative journalism or writing 📝. I would like to dedicate myself to the social, childhood or cultural issues, especially in Latinoamérica. In my case, the way I would like to help is that through research, forgotten issues are put on the table, give a voice to those who perhaps do not have today, fight for a more just society.

    How important is journalism to the world! I like how you see yourself writing about the issues that affect Latin America. Also, I like the view that you have of journalism, directly connected to the public labour.

    I hope you are OK. Likewise, unlike other institutes the University of Chile has a role to deliver an ethical journalism committed to people. When researching where to study I realized that it was the only university that had a curriculum with these approaches.

   Hello miss and classmates, Today I want to write about two songs that were important to me and make me remember something nice about one period of my life. The first song is One Time by Justin Bieber. This song reminds me of my childhood. When I was eight years old,  I left the school at one in the afternoon, so all I did in the afternoon was to  play pet society or  watch music videos on MTV. So, in this context, I was watching TV and the video of One Time appeared on my TV, since that day I fell in love with Justin Bieber haha, and I became Belieber. In my childhood, my friends and I shared this taste for music and to this day it brings us beautiful memories.  The second song that comes to my mind is Exhibicionista by Drefquila, this song was popular when it was my study trip   and I remember that we always sang it on the bus. POST 8: English Language Challenges

 Hello miss and classmates! I hope everybody is fine. This is the last blog and I would like to say that it was very entertaining to learn English in this way. blogging weekly was a great way to be consistent with English. I feel that what I need to improve is the fluency when speaking. What I will do to improve is to practice more and watch more things in English, such as series, songs or books. Currently I don't practice English much, so I have to make an effort to include it in my daily life. I appreciate all the classes I had and the course I took, it was a nice experience.
